This is somehow more terrifying than Voidsphere’s first two albums, which is saying quite a lot. The band members might be nice people, but I totally buy their commitment to creating a sonic representation, using black metal textures and structures, of the Void. Call me a simpleton and a heretic, but I much prefer Voidsphere’s low-fidelity take on atmospheric black metal to that of Darkspace - there is simply more going on here. Listen to this at your peril. I mean that as a compliment.
